Environmental issues are highly considered significant for our successful and responsible business strategy.

PT. IEM adopts Environmental Management System (EMS) as an extension of our Quality Management System (QMS) program.

To minimize the environmental impacts of our manufacturing processes, we are committed to invest in equipments, buildings and programs designed to safeguard the environment.

• Buildings and equipments:
  • Water recycle equipment: enables water usage reduction.
  • Hazardous waste disposal chamber: enables elimination of environmental impacts.
• Programs:
  • Repurchase thread packages such as cones and spools from customers: enables reuse of cones and spools usage (consuming less material).
  • Segregation, proper handling and disposal of organic, inorganic as well as hazardous waste: enables environmental impacts reduction.
  • Using only dyestuffs and chemical substances which are environmentally friendly in accordance the Restricted Substance List.
